Demeanor/Behaviour: Ryan has various personalities
1) Maniacal: Ryan can go crazy in battle. He laughs evilly and becomes careless of himself, although not of others. His eyes almost turn crimson. Some call this the berserker state.
2) Hateful/Spiteful/Depressed: Due to his past, Ryan can go into darkness mode, where everything makes him sad and depressed. It is recommended to either try to cheer him up or not talk to him at this time.
3) Sarcastic/Evil/: When Ryan is like this, he's not very nice. He will lie, cheat, and do things that are normally unnecessary just so he can get what he wants. However, he normally doesn't like being like this, although it IS fun.
4) Nice: You will almost never see this side of him. He's actually nice sometimes!
5) Apathetic: Very common state of mind. Ryan doesn't care for much. He won't be curt to you, but he won't go out of his way to completely help you.
Transportation: Normal transportation: Walking, Boat, etc.
History: Ryan's past is very sad, but not OMGCRYTEARSOFSADNESS. Ryan was a normal boy who had a very average life. However, soon after becoming a teenager, he starts to hear strange voices. They tell him of horrid things, flames burning, souls being lost to the darkness. The more they talked to him, the more they maddened him. He went to his parents for comfort, but he could get none. He even learned that these voices were ghosts, demons that tormented people. As the time went by, he learned to survive with these ghosts. He could even communicate with them...slightly. However, one night, as he woke from a nightmare, he found his arm to be mutated grotesquely, and he soon learned why. One of the ghosts, Kazan, entered his arm, and is now possessing his arm. A demon like this would waste no time to try to infect his body completely. It took Ryan's full concentration to prevent from being possessed. He went to his parents, but when they saw his arm, they rejected him completely. They gave him some food, an old rusty blade, and a pair of shackles which were supposed to prevent him from being corrupted. He traveled alone, tormented by ghosts, and rejected by his family. He became a Slayer, sword-user. He honed his skills, and soon his master, G.S.D (no one knows what the letters mean), declared that he was ready for the next level of training. He could have become a Sword Master, rejecting the demons. A Berserker, tapping into the power of the demons. An Asura, giving up his eyes for great power. But Ryan declared that as the demons controlled his life, he would control the ghosts. He became a Soul Bender, the one who studied into the dark parasite to learn how to control it.
He traveled and became a great Soul Bender, learning about the Ghosts, their natures, and how to use them, even in battle. He trained so hard that he earned the title of "The Soul Reaper", the one who controls the souls of other beings, and masters them. He travels the land, honing his skills, working as a mercenary, and deepening his relations with his Ghosts.

"Shall we, Master?" said a ghostly voice. The man acknowledged the voice. It WAS his ghost after all. He grabbed the hilt of his Katana, and followed the advice of Kazan. He looked at the building. "Realm Walker's Inn....might as well go inside." Ryan pushed open the doors, and walked inside.

Strengths: Darkness. Darkness empowers ghosts, therefore empowering Soul Benders. He can summon Ghosts that work alongside him. He uses a sword, and uses the speed of his Katana to his aid. He can be merciless in battle, and only has feelings for his allies, although he's not a senseless beast.
Weaknesses: : Light. Purgers. Exorcists. Anything Anti-Ghosts. Spears are generally strong against Swords, so he must be careful of spear-users. If someone can get to his feelings, then his battle sense might be interrupted. Soul Benders do not use heavy armors, so his physical defense is weak. (although he has a pretty good magical defense).
Battle Style: Summoner/Swordsman. He summons his ghosts to add effects, then slices the enemy down with speed.
Ghosts cannot attack, cannot be attacked, and cannot move, but instead release an aura in which they take effect. If summoning arts are sealed, then Ryan cannot perform them. There can only be 3-4 Ghosts in the battlefield at the time.

1. Kuragai: Ryan's trusty Katana. He carries it everywhere he goes. It has dark powers, as it is imbued with a ghost.
2. Shackles: The item which used to seal Ryan's ghost. Emphasis on used to. As a Soul Bender, he released his ghost.
3. Cloth Armor: Very light armor which allows great speed and magic defense, but little to no physical defense.

1) Summon- Kazan: This allows Ryan to summon Kazan, the spirit which resides in his arm. Kazan raises the attack and magical attack of Ryan and his allies. (summons 1, lasts 3-4 posts)
2) Summon- Afterimage of Keiga: This summons Keiga, who imbues himself with the Soul Bender's armor and shadow. This increases the Soul Bender physical defense and evasion. (summon 1, lasts 4-5 posts)
3)Summon- Hazy-Eyed Bremen: This summons Bremen, the ghost of haze. His haze affects enemies, and lowers their defenses and responses, making them easier targets. (Summon 1, lasts 2-3 posts)
4)Summon- Ice Saya: This summons Saya, the Ice ghost. Saya lowers the temperature around him drastically, slowly damaging anyone too close to him. Get closer, and you will get encased in ice, like Genis's Absolute spell. (summon 1, lasts 2-3 posts)
5) Summon- Kalla of the Dark Flame: This summons Kalla, Ghost of Fire. Kalla imbues himself with the Soul Bender's weapon, causing dark flames to rise from the sword. Also, the Soul Bender can choose to send some Dark Flames as weak projectiles at the enemies.(summon 1, lasts 2-3 posts)
6) Summon- Rhasa, Carrier of Plague: Rhasa is the ghost of sickness and curse. Those too close to Rhasa will be infected with status effects, from poison to sickness, to weakness, so on and so forth. Don't get close to Rhasa! (sumon 1, lasts 2-3 posts)
7) Ghost Slash: Summons an unknown Ghost into Ryan's blade, then forces it unto the enemy, causing a shockwave. If Ryan charges this attack, it can be followed by Ghost Slash- Drive, which just adds another slice with any ghost of the above.
8) Moonlight Slash: Slices the enemy with a curvature, making the shape of a moon crescent. If charged, it turns into Full Moonlight Slash, which makes a full moon orb which damages any enemies inside it.
9) Lunar Curtain: A spell which raises the Defense to darkness of the allies, while decreasing the darkness defense of the enemies in range. (insta-cast, lasts for 3 turns)
10) Ghost Step: Infuses a speedy Ghost into the Soul Benders feet, allowing him to move really fast. While moving like this, he is unable to be seen by normal human eyes. However, he cannot attack until he stops using Ghost steps. (Ghost steps last about 2 posts)
11) TombStone: When Ryan casts this spell, tombstones raise from the ground, infused with shadow energy. The tombstones raise around him, and anyone too near them will be blasted back. Ryan can also use these stones as makeshift swords which are for some reason wayyyyy weaker. (insta-cast, cannot be casted again for 2-3 posts)
12) Phantasmal Slayer: Summons a Ghost and cuts it right in front of Ryan, using the energy from the Ghost to damage the enemy greatly. However, it can only go foward, so it's hard to aim.
13) Katana Mastery: Allows Ryan to wield any Katana, any Katana at all while it a sword. If it's not controlled by some power, it is not a problem for Ryan. (Passive Skill)
14) Dark Demon Fang: He prefers to yell Majinken. Basic Swordsman technique. Sends a shockwave projectile at the enemy which goes straight. Infused with darkness.
15) Dark Shied: Uses a Ghost to shield from attack. Deflects most normal attacks.
16) Soul Manipulation: When Ryan or allies kill an enemy (NPC only) Ryan obtains part of this soul. Ryan can either use it to summon a weaker version of the enemy, save some of them to summon a full version of the enemy, or to infuse and give the enemy's power to himself or allies...however, giving the power also gives you the weaknesses and the problems of the enemy. (passive skill)
17) Soul Eye: Using the power of the Ghosts and Souls, he can see supernatural things that most would miss. Demons, ghouls, and others cannot escape his sight. Those who try to encase their identity would have a problem, and need to focus to do so. (passible skill)
18) Shadow Harmony: Using the power of Ghosts, Ryan increases his resistance to darkness and anything darkness/demon/shadow related. However, this also increases his vulnerability to Light/Holy/Purger. (passive skill)
19) Ghostly Ally: There is always a ghost at Ryan's side. In battle, it can sometimes mention battle strategies, or it can tell Ryan things about the enemy. However, most of the time it's just conversation material. It's always a random Ghost (Kazan, Keiga, Kalla, Rhasa, Saya, Bremen, or a whisper from a random unnamed Ghost). Ryan can make these ghosts visible in a non-aggresive form if he wishes. (passive skill)
20) Paranormal Connection: Ghosts can contact Ryan, Ryan can Contact Ghosts. Ryan can see them, and talk to them if they are in the area. Let's say you need to contact your grandpa who died in you basement, Ryan will do it for you. It's no biggie. (passive skill)

Finisher: Summon- Furious Blache
This is the eptimote of Summoning skills. This allows Ryan to summon Blache, Ghost God of Destruction. When Ryan first activates this skill, a pool of Ghostly matter appears around him, from which enemies that do not dodge will be caught and cannot escape. Then, all the Ghosts (Kazan, Keiga, Bremen, Saya, Kalla, Rhasa, and the Ghost from Ghost Step) appears in the middle of the pool, in the form of eerie flames. Then Ryan yells:
"O' Mighty Darkness, Death and Oblivion! Approach from the Gates of Chaos! Come Forth, Blache! "
After this, A Giant monster appears from the center of the pool, consuming the Ghosts. The more Ghosts Blache consumes, the more power he obtains. Then, Blache looks at the enemy, and is hit by the ultimate blast of Dark Ghost Energy (either that, or Blache would just try to consume you too. Trust me, the Dark Ghost Energy is better). This attack, although very damaging, is very hard to perform.
Cooldown: 14-18 posts
(Note: Although it says that Blache gets stronger per Ghost, Blache attack always summons all the other Ghosts. His power won't change. Just letting you know.)
